Assessment

RMET has various criterion reference based assessments available for determining the academic levels in reading, writing and math. While administering assessments RMET is concerned with the process the student uses while working. This is as important if not more so than the product they produce. In other words, RMET deals with how a student learns and not their scores on traditional assessments. Assessments can determine if a child has a learning disability and if so which ones.

RMET offers assessments for:

  • Phonetic reading skills
  • Comprehension skills for reading aloud, reading silently, and listening to a passage.
  • Basic math skills
  • Composition skills
  • Visual and auditory memory skills
  • Executive function skills
  • ADHD parent and teacher surveys
